Weather Forecast New York Marathon 2009

Time to check the forecast for the New York marathon! weather.com speaks about 5 to 14 degrees, so cold but not freezing at the start and then a good temperature for the second half of the race. 20% possibility of rain with sun and some clouds (finger crossed to have to rain, specially before the start) and a bit of a bad news some wind. Not super strong, but 16km/h can be annoying. Will check again in a couple of days, saturday is supposed to be more wet but warmer, I guess the forecast can change before sunday.

  5. Crepi il lupo, spero di non averne bisogno, non per essere gradasso ma perche’ non dovro’ cercare un tempo preciso, ma comunque non mi voglio certo risparmiare.

    @Andrea: ho controllato, sembra un filo in preggioramento la previsione, leggo sul 30% di probabilita’ di pioggia con possibili temporali. Cavolo devo trovare un copripioggia da buttare a 2 minuti dallo start. Durante la gara la pioggia non mi preoccupa molto, ma nell’attesa si. Per te quest’anno non sara’ un problema, visto che ti sei meritato il trattamento sub-elite!!! Per me sara’ un incentivo per meritarmelo negli anni a venire.

    P.S. Maybe not very interesting for you in this precise moment but they have finally fixed the date of the Rome marathon to the 21st Marche 2010.

  7. @Patrick: yes I read about Rome, it is a bit late cause I want to do Connemara (11th of April) but if I decide to go for the ultra in Connemara and I find a cheap flight for Rome .. why not, can be a nice one to try a PB (I will be again fit at my best)! For the New York Marathon check out online, if you have a good broadband there are Channel with online streaming
