Wicklow Mountains long one

Irish country side it can be a great place for a nice day out. Today with Markus we decided to go for a long run over there, he picked me up at 8:30am and shortly after 9 was time to run.
Weather was just right, not warm, not cold, few clouds and the Irish relaxing contry side of the Wicklow Mountains. 35.5km in the legs for 2h50 (probably about 2h35 running time) with 450 meters ascending. A good not fast long workout I was still missing before the New York Marathon were I hope to be able to run with Markus himself, we are both thinking about a 4′/km pace.
I attach the only picture I took before to start to run, the view is quiet small but I think it gives a little feeling about the place, hope to catch some of the pictures Markus did.
Once back in Dublin a good shower, the fish Chowder (actually 2) plus a nice Guinness at the Brazenhead (one of the pub that pretends to be the oldest in Dublin). Nothing more to say, that is one of the best way to enjoy running and a sunday off!!!
